It isn’t often that a relatively short visual novel gives me the feels, but this one did. Not entirely convinced I managed to convey that properly in my review, but…

thank you SO much oh my goodness!!!

i'm so happy this deeply personal project managed to connect with you on an emotional level <333

Gorgeous art, and enjoyed the exploration of the central question between the two characters!

oh my GOSH? THANK YOU SO MUCH???

this was so great. the bg art in particular was my favorite. i loved how expressive it was! it suited the tone of the game so well. wonderful work <3

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! environments are absolutely not my forte but i super enjoyed painting the bg <33333

I love the art, the texture and strokes are very expressive! The narrative itself was also well-written and carried your theme of uncertainty across. With the two paired together, you have wonderful visual novel that focuses on such a real and raw topic... it was a great experience!!

How absolutely gorgeous!! The art in this game is breathtaking! I'm in love with your painterly style and the wide rough brush strokes. The beautiful BG and sprite on top really make this feel just like walking into a painting! Couple that with the ambient beach noises and I could practically smell the salt water, godddd... It was just incredibly lovely. THOSE COLORS. THE BEAUTIFUL SUNSET. I would like to stay there please and thank you. It sounds really wonderful right about now lakdjfalk

I thought the story was really poignant and sweet -- I mean, who hasn't had to face a tough choice like that in their life? Even if it's not a choice of whether to stay or leave a place you've long called home, there are plenty of other moments in our lives when we've surely debated for days and days and even then still don't know which choice is right. And yet. We do eventually need to reach a decision. And I felt like this story encompassed that feeling -- that moment of conflict, of uncertainty mixed with nostalgia and hope -- really well.

Also I have to say that this made me really incredibly curious about this world?? Where is this?? What's going on?? What's beyond the bridge?? For people to have left beyond the bridge and then those left behind never hear from them again... it really makes me wonder. Part of this feels like it could be the beginning to an epic adventure. To go beyond the bridge and find out what else is out there. Actually somehow it also gave me feelings of like Kingdom Hearts and when they're on the island at the beginning and wondering what else is out there LOL But yeah, it made me really want to see what's going to happen next.

At any rate, I can't believe this is your first VN! This was so gorgeous and so well done!! I really loved it a lot. Feel like I'm going to come back this whenever I want to feel like I'm back on the beach with that nostalgic breeze blowing past my cheeks... 💕

AAAAAAAAA i can't tell you how happy your comment made me!! thank you so much!!

The story is based around my own experiences in my home country of venezuela and the many many conflicting emotions surrounding the mass exodus that has ocurred in the past decade. its kind of a whole thing to unpack, but when O2A2 was announced, i knew thats what my game would be about.

there may be more of this little world at some point. the basic set up is intentionally vague, but set in the real world mostly. its more of a magic realist approach to untangling my feelings than a clear cut story, and i havent even decided on what format following entries will be. one long game? several short-form entries? a comic? a series of illustrations? all of the above

its up in the air for now, but i'd love to play around with this world more in the future

again, thanks so much for your comment. it made my night!
